Meet Our Founders

Dr. Cam Simone

Dr. Cam Simone

Dr. Cam Simone, a chiropractor licensed in Ontario who has withdrawn from his chiropractic practice to focus on his management of On-Site Medical, a predecessor sister company to Horus Medical Assessments, spent decades working in Ontario with insurers under the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule legislative scheme (SABS) before moving to Newfoundland and Labrador in 2021.

He has been involved in the assessment injury for 25 years.

Andy Rowe

Andy Rowe

Andy Rowe, a St. John’s native, is a non-practicing former insurance defence and personal injury litigation lawyer who spent his initial years on the insurance defence side of the equation, working with a large Atlantic Canadian firm before moving in-house with one of the largest multinational insurers in the country.

Andy finished the final years of practice working directly with the public injured in automobile accidents at a large regional personal injury firm.

Support for both assessment and treatment coordination

Horus Medical Assessments is focused on putting the injured person at the forefront of every assessment, while doing whatever is necessary to ensure that our providers provide unbiased assessments that get at the heart of the person’s case, claim, and/or injury.

We are also dedicated to ensuring that options for whatever treatment is recommended are available in a timely manner, which can sometimes be a stumbling block related to the volume of claims that insurers are required to process.

We are committed to transparency and unbiased assessments. We are open to working with insurers, adjusters, claims handlers, government agencies, plaintiff and defence lawyers to ensure that whatever the context, the injured person is provided with an assessment and treatment plan that fully captures their medical condition.
